@Ashlei – We’ve had a heck of a heat wave here in Victoria again, and although we were spared further fires, we were very watchful. Take care through these fires….stay safe….and live life to the fullest.

The Toodyay fires burnt for around a day or maybe a little more. As far as i know they took out around 20 homes and its good to know that no one persihed in these fires. It was kinda scary to know that there was an outta control bushfire burning like 1 hour away from my house with strong winds and temperature at like 48 or something. To think what it would have been like for the Victorians for them to *know* that there is a fire that is like right out the front of there house it would have been really scary. It is so horrible to think that nature can do this and we sometimes have no warning what so ever that it is going to happen it like (BANG) it hits us. Nature is lovely and horrible all at the same time. Mrs Attree if you ever read this i just want to thankyou for teaching us all about this and we all greatly appreciate it all and everthing you did for us. You were a great teacher and hope you have a nice life with whatever you do. Im sure that you will be great at whatever it is and say Hii to your mum for me lol:)

Thankyou Nora for putting this on your website. It really does mean alot to be able to tell people affected by the fires that we do understand what they went through to an extent. As I write this comment there is a bushfire burning in a wheatbelt town around 150kms from where I live and having been able to input in writting this essay has helped me realise how the people of Toodyay are feeling and the effect of bushfires. Thankyou to Mrs Attree for helping us write this essay and thankyou to you Nora for publishing this on your website.
